Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using QuoteCrest. By creating an account you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The service

QuoteCrest provides a web-based quoting platform that allows businesses to create, send, and manage sales quotes. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription term.

2. Accounts

You must be 16 or older and a legal entity or individual capable of entering into binding contracts. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use QuoteCrest to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Upload malware or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
• Resell or sub-license access to the service without our written consent

4. Subscription and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to data you upload or create in QuoteCrest. We process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your data solely for this purpose.

6. Confidentiality

We treat your business data as confidential. Our staff access customer data only when necessary to provide support or ensure security, and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

7. Intellectual property

QuoteCrest and its underlying software are owned by QuoteCrest and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our IP to you.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. Planned maintenance is announced via our status page. We are not liable for outages caused by events outside our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
